Granite Brewery Peculiar – Hand crafted in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Peculiar is a dark ale with a slightly sweet but dry palate. Peculiar won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto Beer Festival. Ours is served straight from the cellar using a traditional English beer engine (hand pump). 5.6% ABV

Rickard's White –Brewed in the Belgian tradition in Canada. Rickard's Original White ale is an unfiltered wheat beer with a natural cloudy appearance. 5.4% ABV

What sets Kilkenny apart from other beers is that its nitrogenated, whereas other beers are commonly carbonated. This nitrogenation ensures Kilkenny_Beer's distinctive features - the velvety smooth, creamy head and the rich ruby red colour. These features come about while being brewed from 100% Irish malt which are mildly baked in the brewing process.

Garrison Nut Brown Ale – Brewed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Like the rich, dark brews of South England this traditional ale draws on specialty malts such as Roast Barley and Chocolate. "Nut Brown Ale" is a deliciously flavourful dark beer like those popular in early Nova Scotia. 5% ABV

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale –Brewed in Halifax Nova Scotia since 1820. Fully fermented, mellow-aged for smoothness and uses balanced North American flavour and bittering hops to create a unique, malty flavour. Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale is smooth with a slightly floral hop character and a sweet flavour delivery. Those who like it. like it a lot! 5% ABV

Stella Artois – Brewed in Leuven, Belgium. Brewery dates to 1366 AD. Saas hops give Stella its distinctive full flavour. 5.2% ABV

Blue Heron Pale Ale is a delightful, medium bodied smooth ale, with a distinctive crisp mouth-feel and a fresh hoppy finish. It is brewed using premium two-row Pale malted barley, generous amounts of both Cluster bittering hops and Cascade finishing hops and our own special proprietary yeast strain.

We are featuring a cask conditioned ale called Hopping Mad. To be perfectly honest, this is not aimed at the light beer drinkers. It comes in at 6% alcohol and although it is very aggressively
hopped it is well balanced with the malt. 6% ABV

The beer has a "Cold Certified" label which turns the mountains on the label from white to blue when the beer's temperature is lowered to 4 degrees Celsius (39 degrees Fahrenheit).


Guest Beer Tower – The Spitfire Arms Alehouse was the first pub in Nova Scotia to offer a guest beer that changes on a regular basis.
